A Red-Headed Muse

Pamela Susan Courson was born on December 22nd, 1946 in Weed, California, and was the longterm/common law-wife of Doors frontman Jim Morrison. It's not really clear on how she met Jim though. They where together from 1965 to Jim's death in 1971. Pam and Jim's relationship was very stormy, with heated arguments and long seperations, but somehow, they always came back to each other no matter who they where with before. Morrison's books of poetry are dedicated to her, and also various songs. He actually bought her a store, and it was called "Themis", a botique that Pam ran for a while. It was known that the botique was opened at odd hours.
Pam's family supposedly was one that did not mix with neighbors much. Pam was a good student until her Juniour Higschool years, and she did not like High School very much. She was a smart woman though, who atended L.A City College, where she studied art. Actually, if you go on some of the videos on Youtube about her and Jim, there is this notebook or whatever, and it has a bunch of stuff like drawings and poems. There are pictures of the pages, and she has her signature on the notebook. There is one really good drawing in it, and on the top left, I noticed the anitials "PC" on top.
People who didn't know Pam think that she was a very quite person, who seemed "weak", although that isn't really the case. She was overall a nice person, but also would not take any ones garbadge. She seemed creative, too, with all the work done at Themis, and even her art. Pam was very beautiful, with her long red hair and green eyes. It was clear enough why Jim loved her. Unfortanatly, she died of a heroin over dose on April 25th, 1974, in a apartment that she shared with two friends, at 27 like Jim. This post is a tribute to a muse, Pamela:)

Winterbreak Is Here:)

Well, for me, winter break started on the 17th of Friday. I didn't go to school though, scince my dumb beighbors didn't pick  me up again! I'm just wishing everyone a happy winter break. This is why I posted this. If you want to see another post, scrool down. I really don't want to be off topic. It's a refrence to this pic above. Below is a photo of the midnight sun suposedly in Sweden according to Google. It was so beautiful, I thought that I'd post it. Happy Holidays bloggers. :)

HEY YOU LOOKING AT MY BLOG!

Well, hello there! What did you think I’d do, bite your head off?
No, even though I am in a pretty bad mood scince I was waiting outside in the cold for 30 minutes, waiting for my next door neighbors to drop me off to school, than going in my house to call my mom to see what I should do scince they obviously are not out, and then going back outside to see that my ride has left, and my dog leaving me an early Christmas present on the carpet (yeah, “eww” I know, sorry if you’ve just had breakfast). So, you can see my day hasn’t started out quite right. So I have to stay home from school.
Anyways, this blog is realy humorous, with a bunch of little random things to it. It’s going to honor some of my favorite people in various post.. but if you love the 60s and 70s.. and vintage and psychedelic… and humour… and the usual news and sports (yes, but sometimes)….well, you are at the right place! :)
By the way, I am Victoria. I don’t go by Vicky. If you call me that, I will hex you. No, not really I’m just kidding. Just got a little carried away with reading “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” Yes, I like HP too, and I’m as crazy as Luna Lovegood.  But I love animals, marine bioligy, science, nature, music (playing it and listening to it), art, photography, all sports, magic, writting, drawing, and imagining.
This is just an introduction. My other one didn’t get posted for reasons I have no explantation for. So, while my freinds are in band and getting yelled at by our teacher, I have to stay home, and I’ll just have to make a dedication post!
Thank you, and please stick around. Maybe you will find/learn something new in this blog, or something that you love.
With much apreciation & warm wishes (especially in this winter!),
-Victoria(:<3
